Adult Program Volunteer Opportunties

Program Support

Whether it be tutoring, reading, coaching, painting, dance lessons, cooking classes, gym time, or any of our activities every day in the Club, our staff can always use some help. Volunteers can help in any area!

Share Your Passions

Our members love to learn! We often get asked to teach them music, coding, chess, resume building, financial education, and a bunch of other skills that could use some expertise. If you have a skill or hobby that you are passionate about, come share it with our members!

Club Beautifying

Our Club is a second home and safe space for our members. Making sure it looks and feels both welcoming and friendly is essential. Help us keep our Club beautiful with painting, gardening, cleanup, and other community projects.

Gardening

Get outside and work with members on keeping the vegetable garden growing. Food produced in the garden is sent home with our members.

Volunteer Application

All volunteers must first complete a volunteer application. 

Policies & Procedures

Adult program volunteers must read and agree

 to abide by all Boys & Girls Club of Greater Derry Volunteer policies and procedures. 

Criminal Background Check

Adult program volunteers must agree to have a criminal background check completed.

On-line Safety Training

Adult program volunteers must complete online child safety training. The training, which is mandated and provided by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, can be completed at home or at the Club.
